At the Feet of The Mother
In those high worlds, Aswapati witnesses the union of the two sides of One Existence, Idea and Force, Knowledge and Power, Vision and Will. It is a realm of divine Unity, a realm of where Wisdom and Will meet and become one.
We have based our study of the political life of this “brightest star on the Indian firmament” on the fact, borne out by the unbroken tenor of his whole life and the essential unity of his vision, thought and action, that his politics was the politics of a Yogi, and not that of a mere politician.
In the history of our universe there have been six consecutive periods which began by a creation, were prolonged by a force of preservation and ended by a disintegration, a destruction, a return to the Origin, which is called Pralaya.[...] But it has been said that the seventh creation would be a progressive creation
Accepting life, he has to bear not only his own burden, but a great part of the world’s burden too along with it, as a continuation of his own sufficiently heavy load. Therefore his Yoga has much more of the nature of a battle than others ....
Not only love and beauty and rapture but also power and grandeur are found in these Life-Heavens. Such was the glorious kingdom that Aswapati had entered, a space where love and joy bound all to all and made the ruler one with the ruled.
This is my appeal to the Mother: Either give me the psychic love or death. Let no third thing come to me — a final resolution.

That is altogether the wrong attitude. It is once more the vital coming in — it is not a psychic attitude.

... we go on in our old way wasting our time and energy, moving always but making no progress anywhere [...] It is by opening ourselves to Thy personal influence, Mother, that we can hope to conquer the obstinacy of our ignorant nature and rise to the glories of the life divine.

What is the “transcendent Mother”?

... the transcendent which is above creation, at the origin of creation; the universal which is the creation, and the individual which is self-explanatory [...] So these three aspects are also the three aspects of the divine Mother: transcendent, universal and individual.
