At the Feet of The Mother
These are some of the characteristics of the vital world: expansion, taste of the extremes, seeking for power and joy. The larger vital, the greater life grows through these things towards its great goal.
... the one thing essential is the intense devotion of the thought in the mind to the object of adoration. [...] As in the other Yogas, so in this, one comes to see the Divine everywhere and in all and to pour out the realisation of the Divine in all one’s inner activities and outward actions.
God is complex, not simple; and the temptation of the human intellect is to make a short cut to the divine nature by the exclusive worship of one of its principles.... And all this happens because we will not recognise the complexity of the riddle we are set here to solve. It is a great and divine riddle
In rebirth it is not the external being that is born again ... it is only the psychic being that passes from body to body. Logically, then, neither the mental nor the vital being can remember past lives ... Besides, it is much more important for us to fix our attention upon what we want to become than upon what we have been.

All that is evidently due to the vital-physical becoming tamasic because you refuse it its small desires. You should throw it away altogether and call down into the vital-physical the Mother’s Force.
