Savitri is a missioned child. She has come, or rather been called by the tapasya of Aswapati, for a high purpose. Here we see a background of Savitri’s coming and going out in search of her quest.
Yoga unfolds the true possibilities of our life. Nature, though derived from divine reality, covers the possibility as man is not ready yet; nature takes him through a range of experiences through many lives to prepare him.
The voice that calls upon Aswapati is no ordinary voice but something seen and heard by his very soul. That is how the mantra is born and has the power of realization within it.
The Ideal must be Nature's common truth,
The body illumined with the indwelling God,
The heart and mind feel one with all that is,
A conscious soul live in a conscious world.
There are also spaces of Time when there is the Divine Intervention, either directly as an Avatara or indirectly through Vibhutis to hasten the process.
He saw the unshaped thought in soulless forms,
Knew Matter pregnant with spiritual sense,
Mind dare the study of the Unknowable,
Life its gestation of the Golden Child.
She is being guided inwardly and outwardly by several Teachers and Gods who are keeping a vigil over Her. Although She is the Omnipotent Source of all, yet She has consented to assume a limited human body for the sake of Her work as an Avatara.
The need of a Guru, one who can not just show us or point the path but help us walk through the entire spiritual journey, is well recognized in all spiritual traditions. However the disciple must have a call for the journey and be ready to submit to the Guru’s influence and obey the guidance.
For those disciples and devotees who are practicing the yoga outside, the Ashram is the place of ‘central influence’ from where the Supramental Force radiates in its most intense way.
