At the Feet of The Mother

Savitri passes onwards beyond the vital worlds concealed within us to the world of mind where rule and measure predominate over the wild freedom and passion of life. The Spirit does not find its freedom here since it is tied to rule and norm.
When you give us the red lotus which is the symbol of Sri Aurobindo, we receive from you the consciousness of the Supreme, don’t we?
I cannot give the consciousness of the Supreme, for who would be capable of receiving it? — When I give the red lotus I establish simply a relation between the sadhaks and Sri Aurobindo — or rather I renew this relation.
... all earth sings a hymn of gladness, the grasses shudder with pleasure, the air is vibrant with light, the trees lift towards heaven their most ardent prayer, the chant of the birds becomes a canticle, the waves of the sea billow with love, the smile of children tells of the infinite and the souls of men appear in their eyes.

This remarkable poem was written before coming to Pondicherry and is set in the period when one Age has vanished and the other is about to begin. King Manu encounters a Rishi who gives him the knowledge necessary for all times.
In this universe the possibility of Love begins with the Parashakti—The Divine Mother. In this sense Sri Aurobindo is referring to the coming of the Mother here and the fusion of Her experience with His.

Lucette taps the pulse of creation with the swelling, crystalline chords of The Luminous Ocean, radiating out to the dome of the universe, and the growling, powerful bass of Fearless Light.
What do you express through your poetry?
I am expressing spiritual truth or spiritual experience. It ought to be possible to read with the inner consciousness looking on and, as it were, seeing the act of reading. In the condition of absolute inner silence I was making speeches and conducting a newspaper, but all that got itself done without any thought entering my mind or the silence being in the least disturbed or diminished.
It is brief summary of the story and its central theme, that is the conquest of Love over death and fate. This love is of course not the usual passion that human beings experience but a Power that descends from high to save creation.
Until the transformation takes place, human life will remain imperfect, beset with riddles, struggling on its road in the fields of Death. But with God and His transforming Touch, all can become beautiful and wonderful, as life should be, is meant to be, and must one day become. Thus we see the essential unity of the Lord and His Shakti as well as of the Creator and His Creation. This is the fundamental basis of transformation. Since the Divine has become this creation, therefore this creation must also become divine.
In 'Torrent of Nectar', the artist stands in awe; beatific and still, only music can begin to describe her vision. How, then, can we reduce it to words?
"Horse Heaven is mystic, ineffable, introspective and god-seeking – exploring and celebrating both external and internal infinities, and a quest for their meeting place. Imagine church music for everyone, without any sectarian baggage, with no need for division or fear – just sharing the wonder of this life eternal. That’s how I would sum up this essential release, from an artist whose music should be heard by all."
How humiliating to ask something for oneself from Life or from the Supreme Consciousness which animates it! [...] For all is within our reach, only the egoistic limits of our being prevent us from enjoying the whole universe as completely and concretely as we possess our own body and its immediate surroundings.
