Every act an act of God
A channel of the mighty Mother’s choice,
The immortal’s will took into its calm control
Our blind or erring government of life;
A loose republic once of wants and needs,
Then bowed to the uncertain sovereign mind,
Life now obeyed to a diviner rule
And every act became an act of God.
The human will became a channel of the Divine Will and took into its control the blind and erring government of life led under the spell of ignorance. Life that was once like a loose republic filled with wants and needs obeying the dictates of the uncertain mind as the leader began to obey a diviner rule turning each act into a worship and an expression of God’s delight in us.
Lotus of the heart
In the kingdom of the lotus of the heart
Love chanting its pure hymeneal hymn
Made life and body mirrors of sacred joy
And all the emotions gave themselves to God.

In the narrow nether centre’s petty parts
Its childish game of daily dwarf desires

Grip on Matter’s giant powers
In the deep place where once the Serpent slept,
There came a grip on Matter’s giant powers
For large utilities in life’s little space;
A firm ground was made for Heaven’s descending might.
In the depths of matter, at the base where the Serpent power slept there came about a grip on the elemental energies and material / physical forces that could thence be turned for larger utilities for our earthly existence. Thus a firm ground was built for the descending Force of the Divine Mother.
Sovereign deathless soul
Behind all reigned her sovereign deathless soul:
Casting aside its veil of Ignorance,
Allied to gods and cosmic beings and powers
It built the harmony of its human state;
Surrendered into the great World-Mother’s hands
Only she obeyed her sole supreme behest
In the enigma of the Inconscient’s world.
Behind the centres in the subtle body, still deeper reigned the sovereign deathless soul divested of its veils and coverings of ignorance. It grew into a god allied to cosmic beings and powers building a higher harmony out of our human condition. All was surrendered into the World-Mother’s hands whose command Savitri was ready to obey amidst all this enigma of the Inconscient’s world.
Closing Remarks
A high uplifting change has occurred in Savitri as a result of the unveiling of the inmost soul and its influence pouring upon her inner being.
