There is often a gap between the inner and the outer life. Sometimes we aspire and dwell in a beautiful consciousness inwardly but as we encounter outer life, we lose the inner state. This creates a gulf between the inner spiritual life and the outer material existence. However, physical things and places have their own significance and purpose. We have to connect to their divine essence.
