It is now up to us to follow in the footsteps of Sri Aurobindo towards the luminous golden future whose doors have been opened for us or to stay at the shores of the human mind and its finite limits.
His plunge cleared the passage for the subsequent Supramental Manifestation on the 29th February 1956 ... as Sri Aurobindo took his station in the subtle physical and worked upon the world forces from behind.
"...It is only divine Love which can bear the burden I have to bear, that all have to bear who have sacrificed everything else to the one aim of uplifting earth out of its darkness to the Divine" - from a letter of Sri Aurobindo, 1934
"Sri Aurobindo’s life is a wonderful example of how yoga can be practiced even in the most hostile environment. We find this most strikingly in ‘Tales of Prison Life’, penned down by Him regarding the trial period. "
A question is often asked about Sri Aurobindo’s wife Mrinalini Devi and the kind of relationship they shared. It was a love full of sacrifice and the nobility, depth and tenderness.
