November 24 is known as the Day of Victory, for, on it, Sri Aurobindo had the experience which promised complete fulfilment of his vision. It is significant that the last living darshan he granted was precisely on this day and in spite of grave obstacles.
... the journey of Yoga does not depend so much on the external help as on coming in contact with the ever-living Presence within through aspiration, faith, sincerity and surrender.
to receive the Divine... is the only thing worth living for. All the rest is an endless cycle of Time moving around the same old grooves of habitual littleness.
Sri Aurobindo had not come to establish once again the Krishna world upon earth. His gift of the Gita still ranks and would continue to rank among the greatest of world-scriptures. Yet this was not enough.
While Sri Aurobindo didn’t ask disciples to regard themselves as his equals or anything of the sort, at the same time he did not specifically instruct them in a set of dos and don'ts with regard to their relation with him.
