Our words bind knowledge. Words like Sraddha and Faith are not limited to the meaning we often attribute to them. Sraddha is the very essence of man that ultimately reveals true knowledge. If everything is lost in life, sraddha alone can build back everything lost. But sraddha can be of different kinds as revealed in the Gita. No faith is blind unless it is stagnant in its narrowness. Sraddha cannot be forcefully created or passed to others. It respects other’s devotion. One can get it by wanting it and then guarding it from hostile influences. (16/4/8)
