Someone broods there nameless and bodiless,
Conscious and lonely, deathless and infinite,
And, sole in a still eternal rapture,
Gathers all things to his heart for ever.
Savitri ascends further in her journey. She goes beyond the Manifest and the Unmanifest, beyond Existence, beyond Being and Non-being towards the sheer Absolute. These are of course very profound spiritual realisations that cannot be grasped by the human mind.
Savitri experiences the all-negating Void Supreme in which there is no room for name and form. It is the mystic Nihil that cancels self and world. In this state all appears as illusory, as if shadowlike figures animated for a brief passing show.
