Mother Divine, life is a jigsaw puzzle where all the pieces are as if scattered all over. We try to arrange the pieces and solve it according to the preferences of the ego or the fancies of desires and the puzzle gets more and more complicated. The more we try to solve it with the mind, even using our highest analytical reason we are often complicate it even further. The mind with its partial knowledge, most often of the surfaces of things, tied to its preconceived, often rigid ideas, easily prone to the influence of desires straining for temporary gains, subject to various attachments, moved by the ego-bound personality of the moment is simply unable to put our inner house in order. Yet until that is done, man’s outer life remains a thing of endless conflicts, struggles and sufferings that are the consequences of this giant ignorance.
True remedy, the lasting solution begins when we realize that the mind is a very limited instrument and there is something greater, much greater called the Divine Wisdom. And greater even than the Divine Wisdom is the Divine Grace and Love. It is only when we truly surrender to the Grace, entrust ourselves to Her Action that we truly begin to understand and the riddle of life begins to get solved. It does not mean that the Grace will fulfill our desires that we with our limited capacities could not. That will be absurd, since it would mean that the Divine Grace is like an arbitrary Power without any Wisdom or Love. Though it may even do so for us to realise the absurdity of our longings and the limited satisfaction they may give us.
When Thy Grace acts, a great churning begins, throwing out at first all that was suppressed as a catharsis, exposing all that is hidden and, finally rearranging, reorganizing our life on an entirely new basis. It is only when the work is nearing completion that we begin to wonder and marvel at Thy Divine artistry and the far-seeing Wisdom that denies nothing, takes up everything in our nature and the world around us, refines, purifies and then transfiguring each element places everything in a new divine order, the true arrangement as it should be in the highest, widest, truest and deepest Vision of it.
Oh, how wonderful it is to trust Thy Grace completely, how simple and easy, magical life becomes, a profound marvel, a perpetual wonder and joy when all is given to Thee, when all is taken up by Thee.
