Opening Remarks
The earth we inhabit is built of heterogenous elements borrowed from all the different worlds. Among these are also the forces of little life and subconscient worlds that create confusion and disorder. That is why it is important to understand the nature of these forces and their action upon earthly life.

Powers of all the worlds
This earth is not alone our teacher and nurse;
The powers of all the worlds have entrance here.

This earth is a meeting point of different worlds and their forces and beings. These forces also nurse and nurture us and leave their stamp upon our lives.

Safety of a settled type
In their own fields they follow the wheel of law
And cherish the safety of a settled type;
On earth out of their changeless orbit thrown
Their law is kept, lost their fixed form of things.

In their own domain these forces move within their field as ordained by the law of each world. But when they enter the earth, they lose this fixity of action but continue to cast their influence wherever they gain admittance. They adapt and modify their action according to the medium.

Creative chaos
Into a creative chaos they are cast
Where all asks order but is driven by Chance;
Strangers to earth-nature, they must learn earth’s ways,
Aliens or opposites, they must unite:
They work and battle and with pain agree:
These join, those part, all parts and joins anew,
But never can we know and truly live
Till all have found their divine harmony.

Here, upon earth these forces come together and meet in this field of life and turn it into a battlefield by their mutually opposing law of action. With some they collude, others they oppose giving birth to inner and outer conflict. Each seeks to impose its characteristic action and must adapt to the ways of earthly life and material laws. Yet the aspiration upon earth is for harmony and not strife, an aspiration that remains unfulfilled as long as these mutually opposing forces continue to baffle us. The only true way to live is to discover the secret key to their harmony which can only come by transmuting them into their divine origin and divine possibility through transformation. They are like deformed beings needing help and healing rather than condemnation and ridicule.

Learning the secret Origin
Our life’s uncertain way winds circling on,
Our mind’s unquiet search asks always light,
Till they have learned their secret in their source,
In the light of the Timeless and its spaceless home,
In the joy of the Eternal sole and one.

After all these forces, like all others owe their Origin to the One Eternal from whom creation emerged, within whom it continues to progress, and towards whom it strives to return. Until each element, each world and their forces discovers its divine possibility, life will continue to remain a field of uncertainty and restless seeking. It is only when each part in us has found and become one with the Divine Origin that we can discover once again the lost felicity.

Inconscient’s laws
But now the Light supreme is far away:
Our conscious life obeys the Inconscient’s laws;
To ignorant purposes and blind desires
Our hearts are moved by an ambiguous force;
Even our mind’s conquests wear a battered crown.

Right now this seems like a far cry since the Inconscient holds the world in its iron grip and does not allow anything to change easily or yield to the growing Light pressing upon earth. It deviates the soul into dark and dangerous alleys and roads that end in a blind abyss. Even what we achieve with much pain and sacrifice is a precarious victory at best. Such is the condition of earthly life as of now.

A slowly changing order
A slowly changing order binds our will.

We are tied to earth’s fate and bound to the slow evolutionary pace.

Until the spirit is free
This is our doom until our souls are free.

So is it going to be until the soul in man is freed from the iron grip of a nature driven by blind Inconscient laws. Once free then it can exercise its influence on the other members of nature. But a slave has no real say in the matter and so too as long as our soul remains enslaved to this dark nature under the influence of these petty movements driven by forces of lust and desires it is bound to remain doomed. The first step therefore is to arrive at the freedom of the Spirit.

A mighty Hand
A mighty Hand then rolls mind’s firmaments back,
Infinity takes up the finite’s acts
And Nature steps into the eternal Light.

But once the soul is freed then our nature is taken up by the divine artificer who reshapes it into the original divine image. Our finite mind and life become one with Truth and freedom and Infinity and God.

Dream of nether life
Then only ends this dream of nether life.

It is then that we wake up from this nightmare we now call life.

Closing Remarks
The key therefore is to discover our soul and be governed by it. Otherwise we shall continue to remain slaves of these blind forces that are experts in creating confusion and disorder.
