We each have a unique past and an even more unique future. Each journey is therefore unique. Only few generalizations can be made to follow the path such as obedience to the Guide, not entertaining doubts, have a fundamental humility. Some Mother’s children never feel the absence of the embodied Guru, but rather feel the Divine Mother always near and more real than does so-called physical reality. But of course one cannot replicate what happens in one person’s life into another. That is the mistake that cults and religions do, by standardising the spiritual seeking and fixing methods and techniques. Spiritual journey takes place in real time with many seen and unseen forces entering the journey supporting and hindering it.
Can we from our little personal experience say that medicine is all good or all bad? We would if we did not understand the conditions in which they act or miss. Such absolute statements as ‘God exists’ or ‘He doesn’t exist’ or ‘He is this or that’ do not apply to the world of relativities in which we live. Does the sun move around the earth or is the earth flat as most people’s sensory experience confirms? Or is the truth other than what we perceive in our ignorance?
In answering this we find the answer to any questions about God. That is why the wise who have walked the way always insisted on coming out of ignorance as the first step. Otherwise there will be little validity of seeing God or having a fantastic Kundalini awakening or supernormal experiences. Come out of the ignorance and the relative, often distorted, if not outright false perception of the senses, and then wisdom will dawn. And for this surrender, humility, faith are very much needed.
