Human life is riddled with paradoxes. Human life is a field of conflicting opposites that pull him in different directions. Due to this man misses his goal even though something in him aspires for it.
Savitri reveals the human condition full of chaos and conflict within. It is this that prevents the soaring of our aspiration.
The Divine Mother has asked Aswapati to wait until the hour of fulfilment comes.
Aswapati now reveals what he has seen through the exercise of foresight that has developed in him. He is a seer and a yogi and knows the future.
Aswapati now asks for the boon of a new humanity here and now. For this he seeks the intervention of the Divine Mother, for Her to come down upon earth and change the tides of Time and bring the foreseen Truth now itself.
What Sri Aurobindo describes here through a significant series of images is the seasons that prepare for the birth of Savitri.
All Nature feels the Divine advent and is in a state of festivity. It is a special moment for earth when the Divine comes down and assumes a physical body.
