Mother Divine, even a moment’s contact with Thee is enough to change our perception and values completely. And so long as this contact lasts, life undergoes a sea change. Later, even when the contact is veiled the stamp of the experience is too powerful and something shifts permanently in our values of the world. But while this shift is enough to free us from the great illusion and the fundamental ignorance that identifies us as the body, it is not enough to transform life. For that to happen, each and every element must be permanently touched and impregnated fully by Thee. It is then that our body too will escape the law of ignorance and death, our life and with it our material existence will be fully redeemed and the shadow and the darkness will be completely chased away from the earth.

O Mother, Mother Divine make us grow fully conscious of Thee, one with Thee in each and every particle of our existence.

May we open wide to Thy Love Thy Light Thy Power Thy Presence so that all is filled with Thee.

Maa, this body meant to serve Thee, to be Thy instrument as well as the material for transformation, carries upon it the imprints of a whole animal as well as the material past. Deep in the subconscient, these imprints do not let it keep pace with the process of inner transformation. Yet a day must come when even this most obscure medium will be transformed by the alchemy of Thy Divine Love. It will also escape the law of death and ignorance through a progressive divinisation of the human clay.

Maa we offer this bodily instrument to Thee. May this body grow conscious and receptive to Thy Force. May each pore of the body open to Thy Purity and Light. May the brain and heart and lungs and all the organs open to Thy Light and Harmony and Strength and Peace. May the nerves and blood be cleansed of all obscurity. May each cell become Thy abode of Beauty and Light and Love.

Mother Divine, Maa, human attachment is often a cause of so much unnecessary pain and suffering. Yet this ignorant and limited form of love shot with threads of egoism serves as a feeder to awaken in us one day the need of true love, the love that gives itself without calculation, without expectation, selflessly, content in itself and needing nothing in return, not even an acknowledgment or recognition. It is when love becomes ripe and is ready to fully turn towards the Divine. It is universalised as it finds and loves the Divine in all creatures.

Maa transform all ignorant attachment into true love.

Maa transform all suffering into the unalloyed peace and joy of the Divine.

Maa transform all strife into the clasp of Thy Love.

Maa transform all conflict into an ever progressive harmony.

Mother Divine, looking on the surfaces one might wonder what this turmoil going on in this world is all about. Yet, if we look just a little deeper, one can see in it the writhing of a serpent struggling to shed its old dead skin. Especially the youth are trying to discard the old but they are not sure of the new things that are trying to take shape within them. In their apparent aimlessness there is a cry to find the true aim. But the forces of the old world are yet too strong and trying to push them back to their old beaten tracks that have failed to solve the enigma of life. What they need is direction towards the future, not a push back to the old. Similarly one can clearly see a growing number of children who embody the New Consciousness but they are being led towards confusion by forces that imitate the New but are like misleading lights that slay the soul at the altar of a lie while claiming to emancipate them from an outdated past. These children need the right guidance so that the new possibilities that they are born with are nurtured and released. The forces disrupting the old order as well as those imitating the new are standing in the way as much as the forces that are clinging to the past.

But the writing is clearly seen. These souls are indeed carving out a new path. They are discovering the future discarding the rigid past and the ambiguous present. They are neither drawn towards conservatism nor towards modernism. Something new is opening in them, a new path, the road of the unborn future.

Maa let these souls be protected and Thy Love surround them carrying them safe towards the shores of the New Creation. We know that Thy Grace is protecting them through the perilous passage and turbulent transition. May these souls recognise Thy Grace and open wide to Thy Love in which alone lies our true safety.

Mother Divine, the lesser we are engaged with the world and people, the more there awakens in us the perception of Thy Presence. This wonderful Presence does not cancel the world but fills it making all things grow beautiful. Behind all things is felt and seen only Thy beatific Smile, the one constant companion of our life and soul. And in this state of quiet inner felicity all is surrendered to Thee in utter gratitude, O my sweet beloved and refuge.

All is in Thee, Thou art in all, all is Thyself and there is nothing else but Thee.

Mother Divine, Maa, open every door and window of our mind to Thy Supreme Light.

Maa, open our heart wide to the sweetness and joy of Thy vast universal Love.

Maa, open our life in all its motions and movements to Thy luminous and mighty victorious Force.

Maa, open each cell of the body to Thy Peace and Beauty and Harmony and Strength.

May our soul live always in Thee, for Thee and by Thee.

Mother Divine, Maa what a joy and release is there when we lay claim to nothing, want nothing, hold to nothing except Thee. How foolish to claim anything for this personality, one among several, as ephemeral as any other, that can be scattered to dust with a single breath of Time. How ignoble to take royalty for any thought or put the stamp of possession over anything when all is Thyself wearing masks of man and woman and child, or this and that creature, assuming this or that quality and name. Each element of creation, each personality, each form and name is nothing else but something of Thyself, limited for the Play. The whole universe is Thy temple, the quarters are the pillars and each creature an idol representing something of Thyself.

When we thus contemplate the vastness and magnificence of creation then life becomes a vast playground of Thy forces playing with Time and circumstance. All then becomes peace and joy and harmony and light. But the moment we shift our attention to this little ephemeral personality to which we give so much importance as if it was the permanent centre of creation and all must revolve around it, then all at once changes into misery, the playfield changes into a battleground and the play seems a monstrous accident. A little shift this way or that way changes everything.

Ever to the Vast, the Permanent, the True.

Mother Divine, Thou hast brought to earth this New Force hitherto unknown to mankind. Thou hast implanted in the heart the new aspiration. The flame-child has begun the ascension towards the new summits. Thou hast opened the doors of Thy Glory and the golden rains now pour upon earth sowing in it the seeds of a new life, a life of beauty, truth and light, the life divine.

Grant that we do not lose the moment and waste our time and energy on things that have no real importance. Let all in us be concentrated on this one single purpose, – the fulfilment of Thy Will upon earth. It matters little as to who and where the new manifestation takes place. The only thing that matters is that the Truth Thou hast brought to earth manifests, here, there, everywhere; in us or anyone else who is receptive so that one by one, little by little the earth comes out of its dark and fallen state and wakes up fully to the New Light, the Light of the New Creation.

Sweet Mother, on this very special day of the Divine Sacrifice, our words fail and our gratitude seems so inadequate a word, and all human expressions fall flat, we simply bow down at Thy Feet in a submission as total as possible. We know we are not worthy, we know we are not yet ready to become the pure gold Thou wouldst want us to be. We know that we can never ever be able to equal the measure of Thy infinite Love and Compassion that moves you to help and redeem us.

Yet, with all these and many more human inadequacies, we stammer our homage to Thee:
‘Lord, Lord of Light and Life, the very embodiment of Divine Compassion and Wisdom that leans from the highest to save, make us worthy of Thy Grace and Thy Service. May each atom of our existence belong to Thee and Thee alone and all in us, each breath and heartbeat, each thought and feeling, each impulse and action be completely given to Thee, in Thy Love, in Thy Service. May there be nothing, absolutely nothing that we can call as our own. May all be Thine and ourselves be Thine, for all eternity and for lives after lives. To Thee our infinite gratitude. May we never ever forget all we owe to Thee.’
