Twilight Hush
A forest | of shadows | gliding fast,
Magnetwise, | as drawn on | by the sun
For wester|ly converging | sunset-goal —
Zenith past, | how eeri|ly they run!
On paths that | meander | ’cross the sky,
Cloudy-maned | the centaurs | bend afar
Moon-bow that | is aiming, | silver-taut,
Arrows made | of silence | at a star.
This seems to me successful. The last stanza especially is very beautiful in idea and expression and rhythm.
