What you describe is a very good description of the disabilities of the physical mind and nature, but it is not of your physical mind only, it fits almost everybody’s being in that part. Your mistake is to think it peculiar to you – a mistake which most sadhaks make when they labour under these difficulties – and to become hopeless on that account. Worse difficulties than that can be and have been overcome. There are other things in you – they may be covered over at present by the obstruction of the physical mind and vital, but they are there and will come out – Clouds are in front but the star is there.
