স্বর্ণশিশু

...রহস্যময় মাঠে হঠাত্ পড়ল ঝ’রে চাঁদের রূপোর বল ।...

ছুটতে ছুটতে ন্রলো সোনার বরণ ছেলে ।...

ত্রকটা গাছের তলের সবুজ কালো জলের

ডোবার মধ্যে ডুবে চাঁদটি হল হারা ।

ডুক্রে কেঁদে উঠে ডুবল সোনার ছেলে ।

আমি তখন ছুটে... ধরেছি সেই শিশুর স্বর্ণ-কেশেররাজি ।...

অমনি সে-জল থেকে ওঠে বিপুল বেগে

সাতটি স্বচ্ছ-ধারার উজল উত্সখানি ।...

স্বচ্ছ দীপ্ত তোয়া- উত্সে হল ধোয়া

সোনার শিশু র তনুর কাজল জলের কালো পথচিহ্নগুলি ।...

তখন দেখি ছেলের দুই কাঁধে দুই ডানা

আমায় শুধুই বলে “যাবো যাবো যাবো”... মায়ের কাছেই যাবো ।

বলেই দোলায় পাখা যায় সে উড়ে উড়ে যেন সোনার স্বপন।

...rahasyamaẏa māṭhe haṭhāt paḋala jh’re cāṁdera rūpora bala..

chuṭate chuṭate nralo sonāra baraṇa chele...

trakaṭā gāchera talera sabuja kālo jalera

ḍobāra madhye ḍube cāṁdaṭi hala hārā

ḍukre keṁde uṭhe ḍubala sonāra chele

āmi takhana chuṭe... dharechi sei śiśura sbarṇa-keśerarāji...

amani se-jala theke oṭhe bipula bege

sātaṭi sbaccha-dhārāra ujala utsakhāni...

sbaccha dīpta toẏā- utse hala dhoẏā

sonāra śiśura tanura kājala jalera kālo pathacihnaguli...

takhana dekhi chelera dui kāṁdhe dui ḍānā

āmāẏa śudhui bale “yābo yābo yābo”... māẏera kāchei yābo

balei dolāẏa pākhā yāẏa se uḋe uḋe yena sonāra sbapana

I suppose the golden child is the Truth-Soul which follows after the silver light of the spiritual. When it plunges into the black waters of the subconscient, it releases from it the spiritual light and the sevenfold streams of the Divine Energy and, clearing itself of the stains of the subconscient, it prepares its flight towards the supreme Divine (the Mother). It is a very beautiful and significant poem.
