Looking Deeper

Spirituality deals with the One, the One ultimate knowledge, or the One ultimate Power, or the One ultimate mystery. Occultism deals with the many intermediary ranges and forces and energies and processes, even beings that stand behind the earthly scene and influence our lives. Some kind of occult knowledge is practiced by everyone without knowing it as such. For example when we say that our thoughts and feelings effect and influence others we are actually practicing an occult truth even though it comes often garbed as a good spiritual doctrine. Psychologists have almost come to an agreement that our mind effects our body. But the next step whether our mind effects other minds and bodies is yet to be taken. Are we really an entirely closed compartments with no communication with the world around us except through physical means? Or is there a way that we can communicate with the world around us, with birds and beasts and even rivers and stones and get a response too?

Some experiments done in certain areas do suggest that our thoughts influence plants and even water molecules. It has often been documented that music helps the plants and even animals respond to it in interesting ways.  Can this music or rhythm reset our physical body, can it then reset our balance with nature? All things in nature follow a pattern and a rhythm and it is not difficult to see how different vibrations affect and influence our life. This opens doors to interventions of various kinds that we hardly use in our medical practice. Our knowledge seems to be limited to doctors and medicines, at most certain social conditions. Perhaps these moments also give us an opportunity to look deeper and see if music and mantra can help us, heal us and make our life beautiful and better.
