When we choose with the head, we may not always have the power to turn this choice into a living reality. The head may be the central hub for the play of consciousness in man but the heart is the plug through which one receives the energy and the power to execute. Without the heart’s consent nothing durable can be achieved, be it things of the world or the supreme spiritual gift of union with the Divine.
