Certainly the whole mankind is not expected to take a leap. All are given a chance to take the leap because of the strong evolutionary pressure. But few actually take the leap due to fear and doubt. Once the evolutionary pressure, the hour is God, passes away then the hesitants simply fall back becoming a step in the great chain.
The beings of transition as many are right now, are quite unstable but that is inevitable as one leaves the apparent security of the human ways and takes the adventure of the New Creation.
