The Divine can be seen, heard, touched, smelt, tasted, breathed, held, embraced, loved, and all else because He is the very origin of all these senses. This is what spiritual experience confirms. But naturally, just as crude people find joy in alcoholic drinks while refined persons find joy in classical music.
Besides one does not seek or love the Divine for what one can or will get from Him. It is simply for the joy of Love. It is love that gives joy. Just as one gets joy even in an ordinary food cooked by the one we love. So too, even before one arrives at a stage whence the senses develop and can experience the Divine, – for that takes time, yet by the very fact of Bhakti, one begins to experience delight in everything including the most ordinary since Delight is the very nature of the Divine.
