Works mean all our outward-going energy or movement.
In a more limited sense it means all we do.
In spiritual sense it includes not only outer action but also that we think and feel and most importantly the intent and the purpose.
Divine Works implies the purpose for which the Divine takes a human body or uses a human instrument and all that is done to fulfil the Divine Will in creation.
