Sweet and infinite Mother, Mother Divine, Maa, one can clearly see how desires deform everything. They bring expectations and fears, attractions and recoils and as one comes under their influence one deviates from and more from the straight response to Truth. Then, to correct the deviation one makes rules for oneself, rules that the labouring mind conceives as helpful in curtailing the excesses of desires, of turning our life towards the truth embedded in our soul rather than running under the shadow of desires. But the mind of man has insufficient light and a limited force to lead us to the Home of Truth. All that it can achieve is to prevent further deviations, keep life on a smooth and level track, mentally conceive of some goal and no more. It is only when the mind surrenders to Thy Law under the impulsion of a higher Will or a deeper will and aspiration seizes our heart or we simply wake up to Thy all-powerful current of Love that the return becomes possible and the journey smooth and sure.
Maa, awaken in us the true will fully. May the sting of desire cease completely and life flow entirely by the force of Thy Will within us. May our minds rise above every rule and be impelled solely by Thy Light and Truth. May our hearts be freed entirely from the clutch of attachments that are nothing else but softer forms of desires and drink from the deepest founts of true Love, Thy Love that dwells in all things.
Maa, let Thy Will manifest in our lives and not the fulfilment of desires. Maa, may Thy Wisdom awaken in us fully and guide our steps to our home of Truth rather than mental rules and conceptions. Maa, may Thy Love seize us, take hold of us completely and mould and transform our being into a transparent mirror of Thy Sweetness, Beauty and Delight.
