Mother Divine, Maa, humanity is going through the labour pangs of the New Creation. With difficulty and unwillingness, often with a painful resistance it is shedding the old skin, the womb of darkness and ignorance in which it has developed so far. Something in man seeks for the Light but when the Light arrives, he keeps the eyes closed as if unable to bear it. Something in him seeks for Love but when Love arrives, he closes his heart to its demand of wideness and purity and strength. Something in him seeks for Power and Force but when Power arrives, he wants to turn it for his own glory and selfish purposes. But the New Creation has arrived and no amount of resistance can stall it for long.
Mother Divine, grant that we may be ready to receive the New Consciousness and all in us be open and receptive to its action. Maa, may all resistances drop away before the growing pressure of Thy Light and Love and shedding the dark past may we wake up and march towards the luminous future.
