Mother Divine, Maa, each day, in fact each moment the entire creation is recreated. As the dawn spreads over the sky illumining it with various colours, there are so many things that have been taken away, removed, and there are so many new things that have been brought into existence. In reality all returns to the Universal and all is released again into individual forms from the universal. We use the terms ending and beginning but these are only a language of convenience as our consciousness is fixated upon a narrow strip of Space and a limited movement of Time. Each form, each creature, thus seen is only a cell in the vast body of the Universal Divine whose Presence can be felt in the immensity of the universe.
And yet this constant withdrawal and reconstitution of forms is not just an ongoing mechanical process as some would say. The Universal is itself a Being and a Consciousness. Behind the play of the Universal Energy and the forms that it builds, sustains and destroys, there is a Presence, a Being, a Conscious Power, that can be felt in moments of an inner stillness. Hidden in its core is a heart of Wisdom, Power and Delight that leans and even enters into each form. It is above all a heart of Love, Love that binds the atoms and the stars, Love that upholds all things together and prevents them from falling apart randomly into a chaotic disintegration. It is Thy Love, O Mother, that holds all the different elements of creation together and lends them something of its beauty and charm and delight. It is Love that we seek in and through different objects and persons. Imprisoned and conditioned by our mind and senses we seek Love in this or that object or person while Love is everywhere and in everything as their very stuff of existence.
O Supreme Love, O Soul of Beauty and Delight that ensnares and holds us captive, O Supreme Harmony that dwells in all things as Sweetness and the Charm that binds us together, this aspect of Thine that is the most sought after, O Mother Divine, make us more and more perfect instruments of Thy Love, vehicles of Thy Delight, vessels of Thy Sweetness and Joy.
With all the love in our heart and mind and body and breath we give ourselves to Thee, O Mother of Love and Beauty and Delight.
