Mother Divine, it is strange that man wants a perfect life, perfect situations and circumstances, perfect love, perfect peace and joy, yet he wants them ready made. He is unable to understand this simple truth that even if all our circumstances, situations and people were perfect, yet if our intelligence were clouded, our heart caught up in a web of selfish feelings, our will weak and life lived for small things and little aims, then one would still be miserable even if surrounded by riches. Such is the message that India must give to the world, if the world would care to listen. The message that man must change first if he wants the world to become a better place. Else if we remain focussed only on the surfaces and keep polishing it without a corresponding inner change this civilisation runs the risk of going down the abyss as others before us. This must not be, Maa, this must not be. Save us, save this humanity, save this earth from the brink.
Maa, may these chains of illusion, this falsehood that deludes man and diverts him from the straight and safe path break off as if they were mere nothings. May we wake up from the slumber of ignorance that makes the true seem false and the false true. Shaking off all the iron bands, may our Soul rise free, higher ever higher, wider and wider towards the glories that await our discovery.
