Mother Divine, Maa, You have come and all will surely change. Our lives are blessed by Thy coming and all the wide sunlit spaces and paths have opened for us, the paths that are meant for man to tread, the paths that lead us to Thy infinity, the paths that would transform our earthly life into the Life Divine.
Maa, Your coming is our one hope, else there is nothing much in earthly life to hold. Yes there is beauty and the passing breath of love that stoops awhile from the summits of creation or surges from the depths, there is wisdom though often petrified in formulas and systems, – neat diagrams that try to catch something of Thee only to know that You escape the grasp of mind on every side. Yes there are moments of courage and fire-winged sacrifice that light up our skies for a moment. Yes there is the glory of Avatars, there are seers and sages who sing Thy Name and plunge into Thee. These are the rare moments when all comes alive and the soul steps forward and humanity marches forrward a little. But the Breath of the Spirit retires and the same dull round of life moves human existence. Maa, Thy coming is the promise that this will no more be so. Thou hast assured us that the Breath of Thy Grace is here to stay and transform us into the truth of our being. Thou hast assured us that the New Light will spread upon the earth and transform it into the glorious home of the Wonderful it is meant to be, a garden of God, a home of delight.
Maa, with renewed aspiration and faith we give ourselves to Thee and the Lord Sri Aurobindo, the two who are one. Rekindling the flame of Hope, we surrender to Thee all of ourselves so that it be consumed fully in Thy Love, by Thy Love. May nothing remain of our old self, only Thy Light and Glory and Love pouring through multiple centres rejuvenating and transforming our earthly life into the Song of Thy Beauty and Joy, a dance of Thy Light and Sweetness, a wide embrace of Thy Harmony and Love.
