Mother Divine, Maa human life is caught in an ambiguous net of forces that keep him tied to his smallness. It is like a bird in a large cage where everything is provided for its satiety except the sky it is meant to soar. So too with the life of man. There is food for his body and mind but very little for his soul. What is worse however is that man himself prefers to remain bound. Even when the food for his soul is provided, even when the strength to fly is given he prefers the sweet bitter spicy stuff that feeds his lower tendencies over the ambrosia of the gods. He prefers the insects crawl around his little self and petty things. And even when he flies for a while on grafted wings, he feels afraid, thinks his flight to be a fantasy and prefers the safe return to his comfortable cage.
Yet, Mother, there is a Purpose in Thy vast design. The worm conceals within itself the butterfly and mankind holds back the yet to be born gods in its womb of ignorance. A life of desires and ambition, of ego expansion, a life given to purchasing toys for the heart, though so absurd and meaningless when we begin to surpass humanity, serves its own great purpose in Thy grand scheme of things. They are the steps for the infant soul. The cage is the cradle for the soul to grow before it can fly towards the sun crossing the delightful dangerous skies.
Maa thus contemplating Thy marvelous Wisdom, the heart is filled with peace and everything finds its place in the totality of the universe. The infant soul needs earthly toys, the adolescent soul needs to pass through struggle and revolt but the adult soul loves Thy sweet and luminous Harmony in all things.
