Mother Divine, Maa, earthly life is at once a field and opportunity for tremendous progress as well as a field where uncertainty and suffering stalks all life. And yet behind it all there is given this inherent delight of existence that keeps all creation going about the everyday life with joy and hope. It is this delight that turns into love when it seeks to multiply itself. Love is indeed the great cushion that not only helps us endure the suffering inevitable due to the various forms of incapacities and ignorance, but gives man hope and support, bringing joy and strength and even purpose to endure the extreme play.
Maa, indeed life without Love would be simply a barren mechanical thing, a blind machine or a computer, a robot that is artificial and false even when it is perfect in all its tasks. Make us, O Mother an instrument of this Love so that something of the earthly suffering be eased by Thy Presence in us.
Maa, may the flower of Love blossom fully in men for it is only Love that can make the dangerous and difficult game worthwhile, only Love that can link us swiftly with Thee erasing thereby all possibility of inner suffering.
Maa, Thy Love is indeed the saviour and mankind needs it most urgently. Not because Thy Love is deficient, – it is in fact everywhere and in all things, but because the heart of man enamoured of surface toys and afflicted by desires that deceive, has closed its doors to this Love. Maa, open the human heart, open every door, flood this earth with Thy Love. Fill all life with this wonderful Love, O Mother Divine.
