O Divine Mother, Mother of Beauty and Light, Mother of Love, Maa, what else is Love but Thy redeeming Power flowing from Thy heart into the heart of creation and its creatures. Few are the vessels that can receive and transmit it without much distortion, rarest of rare still who can become the instruments of Thy Love. It requires a great strength and wideness as well as an entire unselfishness. But the human vessels and channels are too weak and narrow for Love to stay, our consciousness too small to hold it. Love suffers and labours and struggles against all odds here upon earth to establish a Ray of Thy Beauty and Bliss. The human heart shudders and trembles at the power of this flame of Love. Hence love suffers and stays a guest for a little while, gets sullied and departs.
Maa, it is Thy Love that humanity needs most and yet resists most. Teach us, O Mother, how to love, how to receive Thy Love with gratitude and love, teach us to be the perfect instruments of Thy Love, make us Thy strong and selfless workers, wide open to Thy Love.
