Mother Divine, Maa, the upswings and the downslides of life are the part and process of our human journey. Like waves that rise and fall but always carry us forward, so too both propel and push us forward towards our true destiny and inevitable goal. Therefore, we should neither be too excited and happy when things look fine and good nor despair or be depressed when things are downhill or look bad. Instead, we should keep a steady faith in Thy Grace and the aspiration for beauty, harmony, light, love, peace, joy to manifest in us and in everyone. Faith is like the light leading us as we go through the ups and downs making it easier and smoother, while aspiration is like the power that actively propels forward making the process shorter and swifter.
Maa, Thou art the effort and the Grace, Thou art the inspiration and the Power that executes. We have to simply surrender ourselves in Thy hands and then be quiet and full of trust like a child, and all that is needed is done, effortlessly as a flower unfolds, as the sun rises, inevitably.
