Mother Divine, Maa, driven by the limited repertoire of experiences man forms the philosophy of life. Though moved by forces beyond his reckoning he ignorantly believes that he is the lord and master of the play. Yet life takes its course that baffles his mind at every step. Enmeshed in the senses he takes the appearance for the Truth. The pleasures of the moment spur him to act, pain sobers him down reminding him of the impermanence of things and the imperfections of life. Yet he hardly thinks of stepping back from the ambiguous play and seek to know its mystery. Confronted with the enigma of fate he seeks to strengthen his comfort zones. Chased by the possibility of death he runs to find doors of escape and ways and means to master the outer conditions to eliminate its possibility. Yet the dark angel comes, a goad to force him to awaken to the Light and the Strength that it carries in his soul. But he forgets too soon and is back on the old ways of life, knowing no other.
Maa, may man awake to the deeper Truth, the Divine Reality hidden behind the darkest appearances. May he discover the unalloyed happiness he always carries within and learn that the ultimate security is not in regulating the outer conditions and mastering the outer causes of death and suffering and pain but in conquering the inner self and discovering Thy luminous Presence within.
Maa, may we not forget the lessons of a tragedy and instead of scanning the outer appearances and the apparent causes, turn the eye within to discover the Permanent, the Eternal truth of the Divine Presence within that alone can free us from all fear and suffering, that alone can conquer all the outer and inner causes of death and pain, that alone can make us master of our destiny and walk in Thy freedom. May we live in Thy unchanging Peace and Joy, may we be surrounded everywhere by Thy Love and Light and Grace.
May Thy Peace dwell in every heart and Thy Love heal all wounds.
