Mother Divine, Maa, the world would be so much better if mankind simply learnt to share, to be less greedy, to give rather than want. It wants, wants and always wants more and more. Indeed it is poverty to always want more, even if there be plenty. On the other hand true richness is the ability to give, not because one wants something in exchange but simply because one is blessed with something and hence one wants to share it with all who do not yet have so. And the most beautiful of these gifts is when one knows that all is Thine and if one is able to give and share it is because Thou hast blessed him to be a channel for Thy gifts to pour upon all.
Maa, Thou art the giver and Thou art the gift and the receiver. Men live in the illusion that the things they hold are theirs. Most men are ready to take, to want and receive but they want to give nothing in return. They want to have, have, have, to take more and more but give nothing. Hence after sometime their channels of receiving are blocked and they are unable to receive more. They blame God but in fact they have only themselves to blame since by hoarding and refusing to give and share, they violate the law of sacrifice on which the creation is built. And hence everything begins to rot like a pond that refuses to flow.
Maa, make us capable of giving and sharing. Awaken in us true generosity. May we become givers like the sun, the earth, the stars, the moon, the trees and rivers and flowers. May we not leave this earth poorer because we lived as a thief but richer because of sharing all that Thou gave us.
