Sweet and infinite Mother, Mother Divine, Maa, we are clearly at the cusp of an Age. One can glimpse, at least feel the rising Sun, not in some distant horizon or mountain peaks, but here, even amidst the crowded and busy tramp of life. Maa, it is the greatest of all opportunities, the opportunity for tremendous progress, in fact a leap towards the future for which all Your help and Sri Aurobindo’s guidance is there. It is not the time to live as humanity has always lived and perhaps most still continue to live busy with the little joys and sorrows calculating transient gains and losses. For us there is but only one thing that counts, – the leap towards the future.
Maa, grant that our entire being be focused and concentrated and occupied and preoccupied with this one single objective that Thou hast placed before us, the leap towards the future. May nothing in us hesitate or delay the leap. May all in us be ready to execute and fulfill Thy Will in us. Maa, this is not the hour to be selfish but to be heroic. This is not the hour to rest but to labour. Grant that we may have the energy to work for Thee in life and in death and further in each and every moment.
Maa, our entire being is placed in Thy Service, surrendered at Thy Feet, for Thy Will to manifest completely, perfectly in us and through us and in all creatures upon earth.
