Mother Divine, Maa, the problem of the individual soul has been solved to a certain extent by the spiritual efforts of the past. But the larger human aspiration of the individual who dreams and aspires of a perfect world remained at best a half attempted, never realised dream. It is this seemingly impossible task that Thou hast undertaken, not just in a few pockets but a change in the consciousness of the earth itself. For this dream of mankind cannot be realised by the emancipation of few or even many individual souls alone nor can it be realised by the highest mental idealism. Man’s nature must change completely and instead of being driven by the ego he must be moved in every sphere of life and action by Thy Divine Force, by the impulsion of Thy Truth alone. And this Truth-impulsion not only in some highest and deepest part but in each and every part, right up to the very cells of his body.
Maa, it is a daunting program, quite intimidating if one sees its scope but then the way becomes easier and easier as one walks through this virgin forest. Besides there is no other way and if man were not to abandon this dream of the Ideal becoming the natural truth of our collective life and existence, then man has to undertake the journey with the pilgrim staff of faith and if one cannot, fall aside as other species have gone before him but not before giving birth to the new becoming, the divine supramental race for which earth has waited so long.
But this would not be for Thou hast assured that this time it is going to be the complete Victory and not one of those triumphs that relapses and the old evil returns with a new face.
Maa, give us the faith and the courage to go right up to the very end, the perseverance and the endurance that brings the crown and the victory for Thee.
Victory, victory, victory, Thy final Victory we seek and aspire for, nothing else but Thy complete victory in us and in all.
