Mother Divine, Maa, one of the forms that resistance to the New Creation seems to take is a return to the past that once represented to man the sense of the highest. Is it the spirit of conservatism that clings to the past or simply a tried and tested means through which mankind is seeking to connect with its deepest roots through which it once drew and still can draw spiritual nourishment. Whatever it be, it is becoming increasingly clear that the New Creation that has begun to manifest will certainly be superior to and surpass all that has gone before it. And if it is a mistake to blindly rush towards everything that is new and modern and fashionable as better, it is equally a folly to equate the best of the past as an ultimate that can never be surpassed. The best is yet to manifest or rather it has already begun to manifest but we have to find it in the depths and not in the surface forms and expressions.
Maa, neither in conservatism nor in modernity lies the solution to our problem. It lies in reaching out towards the New Idea, to discover the thought of the Future and express it in life and action. Maa, grant us the vision and the will to express the New Creation that You have brought for earth. Make us Thy faithful intermediaries ready to manifest the future, the vessels and instruments of the New Creation that is bound to surpass everything that man has known so far.
