Mother Divine, Maa, each thought turned towards oneself, towards the preservation of the body or vain self-glorification, or selfish gains and personal motives, each action and energy turned towards the satisfaction of our passions and desires, each work done for the sake of the ego-self in us, under whatever high pretense, be it even the noblest justification is a travesty of Thy Will in us if not an outright distortion. Maa, every energy turned towards one’s own satisfaction is an energy deviated from the true purposes for which it is given. This is the great disorder of the world whereby slowly a thick shield of obscurity and ignorance covers the life of earth and humanity and resists Thy Light as clouds resist the sun. This sense of separation where each lives for himself and for his few family and friends is the immediate cause of much evil and suffering in the world. Behind it is the spirit of appropriation and greed, the desire to possess and keep for oneself what is meant for Thee and through Thee for all. It is the life of a thief to say the least.
Maa, may we recognise this error and henceforth turn everything towards Thee, for Thy Glory, Thy ‘satisfaction’, Thy Work and service, the fulfilment of Thy Will in us.
All for Thyself and ourselves for Thee should be our guiding Light. Let all in us be directed towards Thee. Let there be one single aim, one single occupation and preoccupation for us, – Thee and Thy Work, the New Manifestation.
