Mother Divine, Maa, the once mighty ocean of Sanatana Dharma brought down and established by the seers and sages of yore seems to have dwindled into small streams of countless sects and cults endlessly multiplying their followers. Something of the original purity, the nectar drop of the Divine Bliss still flows through its narrow muddy paths. One can even feel it’s living wideness and the charm typical of the first dawns. The lamp of knowledge still burns here pointing the ways to God. What touches most is the faith in God that one finds in the commonest of men. It is as if the whole of India was a single flame of faith rising towards the Unseen.. People say that it is an excess of faith that has led to India’s downfall during the dark ages. But it seems to me, Maa that it is this excess of faith that saved India and the Sanatana Dharma despite the onslaught of barbarians and her own detractors. Whatever be the reasons, Mother, India must be saved and restored to her glory for the good of the world.But the India, that most needs to be saved is the India of Sri Krishna, the India of Sri Aurobindo.
Maa, let India unite and recover her lost teachings, her glory and greatness, her wisdom and power. Let this beautiful land once again be filled with the original Aryan people, steadfast in Dharma, wise in the mind, strong in character, noble in temperament, full of true faith and love in the heart.
Maa, let the lost Saraswati, the river of mighty wisdom awaken once again and gather her children wherever they be and unite them in a common ideal for the good of the world. Maa, for the good of the world, for Thy Service and moved by Thy Force and Love, let India rise.
