Mother Divine, Maa, how sweet and overpowering is the fragrance of Thy Purity, yet how difficult to hold it. For Purity is not what we think about it. It is not physical cleanliness nor even moral and mental rules of life. These have their place for a happy, healthy and harmonious life. But in itself they are not enough to take us into the true spiritual life. In fact, Purity is free as Light without shadows or Truth without mixtures. Purity is to be completely under Thy Influence and no other, it is to do what Thou wouldst want us to do, to think and feel as Thou wouldst want us to think and feel, it is to live and be what Thou wouldst want us to live and be. To be completely under Thy Influence is to be completely free, free beyond all constraints and restraints, free beyond all conventions and norms, free beyond all formulas and rules. To be pure is to live in Thee, for Thee, by Thee, in the freedom of the soul, in union with Thee.
O sweet infinity, Mother Divine, bless us with this Purity that dissolves all shadows and sufferings and opens us directly to the Light and Action of Thy Truth.
