This transformation of earthly life into a life Divine is the original Divine Project confirmed by the progressive transformations in the course of earthly life. The Avatar or the descent of the Divine opens the doors of this possibility. In this ascending or rather progressive series Sri Aurobindo comes as the last Avatar who takes up, integrates and completes the work of the ascending manifestation of the Divine upon earth through the process of evolution.
