Bad and good periods is how the mind in ignorance looks at it. But for the Divine Will there is only one thing that counts and that is progress. Very often we call a bad period when things do not happen according to our desires but actually, they are a Grace as they give us tremendous opportunity for progress. They come to push us forward. If you take it as that and make an effort to progress in the desired direction then one goes through it faster and happily. However, if you ask me for one thing required to steer through the ‘bad’ period then it is faith in the Grace. it is the only safety in life.
