The stories of bad karma leading to bad happenings in life are obviously much misunderstood. Karma is an evolutionary mechanism and has little to do with reward and punishment. Sometimes when the evolution gets accelerated it can be quite disorienting with massive inner and outer shifts and challenges. It may appear as a punishment or something bad but it is simply the hand of our secret Lover and Beloved drawing us rapidly towards Him.
