I am not sure who or from where you got the impression that ‘Sri Aurobindo is a Messiah of Peace and Love’. His messiahnic mission if we can call it as such is more about establishing a Divine Life upon earth and in all who are called or aspire for it.
There is no question of converting the entire humanity into a new type. Certainly, there are many who neither have faith in such a possibility and quite a few who would even laugh at the possibility. They are free to follow their cynicism if it helps. This has happened to all new ideas when they were born.
And yet time surprises us and history passes the final verdict, not in favour of the logician or theologian but in favour of those few who had the faith and dared.
