it is perfectly okay. The Divine knows Himself in the heart of the seeker and responds to the sincerity of the aspiration. Countless mystics all over the world have realised the Divine through an ardent aspiration and sincere seeking though they knew about Sanskrit. He hears even the dumb prayer of the bird and beast and stone, what to speak of conscious human beings. Of course Sanskrit as a language is wonderful and great but seeking the divine goes beyond any and every language.

I am reciting the mantra in English only, because I do not know Sanskrit, is this acceptable?
