The Mother’s and Sri Aurobindo’s birthdays are observed by a quiet file past to their room in a line. There is a morning collective meditation from 6 to 630 AM. In the evening there is a March Past in the Ashram Playground at 630 PM followed by the Ashram band and Meditation with the Mother’s music or some passages read by Her. The Mother’s flag is hoisted and there is a beautiful floral design made in the Mother’s interview Room in the Playground. Of course, the Samadhi as well as their rooms are decorated with flowers. There is special bread given in the Dining Room for breakfast, and a special rice, dal and a sweet are given during lunch.
