Education cannot be imparted in schools and institutions built along old lines that regard man as a body, outer life as the only field of knowledge and action, and material success as the most important goal of life. Such an ‘education’ is hardly worth its name. If we were to impart true education it should be a space rather than a school, a space that provides endless possibilities of self learning and a natural organic growth as the child comes in contact with everyday life and it’s manifold experiences. The role of teachers will be to stimulate learning, to help the child to learn and grow himself rather than stuffing him with heaps of information and forcing him into a fixed formula of life.

All education is a progressive self-discovery and through the self an ever growing world – discovery.

Educational institutions are not a place where children should go for degree and jobs but places where they learn to go beyond these things and their relative unimportance. They should be plastic to the different needs of different individuals and yet create a ground for common upliftment.
