The matching of horoscopes, even granting that it has been made accurately, is at best indicative of certain traits of personality and, to a very limited extent, if at all of possible future direction. But neither the human personality nor the future can be known just by reading the natal chart. It is only by learning about the person from very close ones or better still by a close personal interaction over a period of time that one may be able to guess a few things. But this too is doubtful since the human mind has mastered the art of deception and most of us are easily deceived by outer expressions and expressions.
That is why there is a need to bring a lot more plasticity and wideness in the system. More importantly, to bring back the true basis of a relationship which is neither money nor horoscope, not even the personality but the capacity for love, sacrifice, idealism, trust, nobility of temperament, generosity, forgiveness etc. Marriage therefore remains at best a gamble. That is why the institution is breaking down as the old social order is changing.
So instead of relying on such things as horoscopes, what is needed much more is to educate children about what a relationship means, about mutual respect and trust, sacrifice and love. It is only a true and integral education that builds a person’s character that is the way forward.
