Bhakti (4)

The outer rituals of lighting a lamp and fragrance at the altar and decorating the Deity with flowers and offering of food is replaced by the lighting of the flame of aspiration within us, offering our faith and love as a flower and giving to the Lord all we are and do. Later even this drops off since the union is too close for ritual acts of worship and adoration. One simply loves Him everywhere and seeks Him and draws Him out from every mask. It is then a game of hide and seek and this too only for the joy of the play He plays with us.
