I completely understand your anger and the confusion and the seeds of discord somehow sown in the minds of many who have read the Agenda. I also agree that even the highest and closest disciple will be surpassed and none is a benchmark, and that applies to all including Satprem.
My simple point was that we don’t discuss the defects of co-travellers whence we are speaking of something so precious as Her Words. It is not about what She spoke (I too have heard the tapes you mention) but the misunderstanding that is created by taking isolated conversations as if they convey the whole. One has to see all that She wrote about Pranab da and Nolini da and then hear the conversation you mention to see how a false impression can be created by knowing a part. Anyways I have no love lost for any of the disciples. What I said was out of some basic human sensibility that one doesn’t use the Divine to settle personal scores with others.
The Agenda was very much being published during The Mother’s physical presence as per Her direction. That is how Notes on the Way came out serially in the Ashram Bulletin. It was She who had appointed Nolini da and Andre to select the material from the tapes.
There is no point discussing views about sadhaks as it serves no purpose. The very fact that Satprem was chosen as the scribe and he documented so much of wonderful sayings of the Mother is enough for me to be grateful. Similarly, for all others the very fact that they served the Mother, with all possible limitations, is enough for me to have a respect for them. Whether they did their job well or not is not for me to judge. Similarly I don’t think anyone including Satprem can pass any final judgment on the Mother’s departure. Of course, I have my experiences to go by and so have others. I admit about the research part on the controversy surrounding the Agenda. I haven’t done any deep research as I didn’t feel it is central to the sadhana and the Yoga.
